SUMMARY:International Window Coverings Expo
DESCRIPTION:New Ideas and New Inspiration at the 2020 International Window Coverings Expo RESCHEDULED \n  \nThe International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE) will provide an exciting new lineup of speakers and a revamped educational area—as well as plenty of the features people have always loved—when it travels to Charlotte\, NC\, on July 29-31\, 2020. Come visit IFDA and the International President\, Ida McCausland in booth #1131. \n  \nIWCE is the only trade show in North America that exclusively serves the window covering industry. That makes it the best opportunity for interior design professionals with an interest in the latest in shades and shutters\, drapery and drapery hardware\, motorization equipment\, outdoor products and other window-related products to get training and product information that is specifically tailored to them. \n  \nAttendees at the 2020 event can take advantage of a refreshed program a raft of new speakers covering all-new topics. Consultant and long-time furniture industry executive Mike Peterson will discuss “The Power of Personal Branding” and “Design Harmony.” Designer Melissa Galt will share her thoughts about “The Social Media Routine That Drives Revenue.” Deborah Moss will be among a handful of experienced people going into detail about motorized window coverings with her talk “Selecting the Best Motorization Options for Various Settings.” Charlotte-area designers Cheryl Luckett with Dwell by Cheryl and Melissa Lee and Brenna Morgan with New South Home plan to share their thoughts about local and regional design trends during the panel discussion “Queen City Design: Charlotte’s Interior Design Royalty.” \n  \nIn 2020\, the popular Construction Zone\, which provides hands-on instruction in a variety of sewing and design techniques\, will be been re-envisioned as Workroom Central. New this year will be three window fashion vignettes developed by interior designers\, and a pillow contest that will raise money for a Charlotte-area charity. Attendees will find the same practical mini-classes they have always enjoyed. People who can’t attend can watch the presentations by livestream. \n  \nIWCE will once again open with a vendor reception on Friday night. Educational workshops will be conducted every day with leading industry presenters such as “Trim Queen” Jana Platina Phipps and LuAnn Nigara\, host of the “A Well-Designed Business” podcast. On Thursday\, July 30\, Window Fashion VISION\, the industry’s No. 1 magazine\, will present the winners of the VISION Design and Workroom Competition Awards. Participants will also have three days to walk the show floor and talk to over 120 vendors promoting various products and services related to window coverings. \n  \nMore details about IWCE are available at www.iwce-vision.com. \n  \n
