Prior to joining Dallas Market Center in 2016 as Vice President of Lighting Technology Development & Marketing, Laura Van Zeyl spent more than two decades covering trends in the lighting and home furnishings industries as an editor for Residential Lighting, Home Fashion Forecast, Accessory Merchandising and Furniture Style magazines. She is co-chair of the Women in Lighting Committee for the American Lighting Association, a Board member for ART – The Creative Home Furnishings Network and an Affiliate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers. She is also an Advisory Board member for The H Foundation, which hosts the lighting industry’s largest charitable event, the Goombay Bash, which has raised more than $9 million for basic science cancer research.
