to tour its newest educational initiative:
The Apartment
A full scale model studio residence designed to showcase ways
individuals can make a home “dementia-friendly.”
Each area of The Apartment including the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room and dining area highlights different steps and adaptations to enhance quality of life and improve safety for someone with dementia.
From simple choices like paint colors and lighting to high-tech products like a smart refrigerator,
The Apartment showcases many tools families can utilize.
Rosemary Bakker, the Apartment’s Interior Designer, will join us via Zoom for Q&A at the end of the presentation and tours.
